Anthony Wayne

This $2,800,000 historic preservation, renovation and reconstruction project sought to return to glory the Anthony Wayne Hotel in Hamilton, Ohio. The 37,000 sf building had fallen into disrepair over the years. The developers were seeking to convert the entire structure into 50 elderly housing units suitable for unassisted living.

Renovations to the landmark hotel were undertaken with preservation in mind. The exterior restoration was to appear as the original. The interior common areas and guestrooms were to be adapted as a housing facility around the original design of the hotel. The street level shop areas of the structure were also restored to function as retail space.
