FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH > SPRINGFIELD, OHIO

This new worship facility boasts a beautiful state-of-the-art Sanctuary wtih a large platform area, projection screens and a baptistery built above the platform so that all may see baptismal services. The ceiling was left exposed with “sound clouds” for acoustical countrol, and there is a walkable tension grid mounted high above the platform to allow technicians access to lighting.

The classrooms wrap around the sanctuary and provide ample space for Adult, Youth and Childrens programming. Many rooms have operable walls to allow maximum versitility, and each wing was designed with the various age groups in mind with appropraite color schemes and finishes. The commercial kitchen and serving area was built adjacent to a large fellowship hall, and a fully equipped coffee bar is located adjacent to the youth area.

The church had a great deal of involvement in the selection of the finishes throughout the church, and members spent over 90 hours painting custom murals on the walls of each of the 4 nursery rooms. The casework as you enter the Nursery area is decorated with colorful cutout laminate animal figures to create a fun and inviting area for the children.
