LINCOLN PARK > SPRINGFIELD, OHIO

This south Springfield neighborhood rebuilding project was developed by Penrose Properties for the Springfield Metropolitan Housing Authority. Kapp Construction was selected over several larger contractors for this $20 million project because of attention to detail and quality of work. Kapp Construction is proud to have been a part of this community project right in their hometown. Complete with 132 residential rental units, a community building and community park , this development gives a much needed revitalization to the former Lincoln Park project, a largely neglected neighborhood built in the 1960’s. The community is a mix of single family homes as well as duplex and quadraplex residences. The homes feature ceramic tile in the baths, Energy Star appliances and the design will allow the owner to apply for energy tax credits. Combined with the community park and picnic shelter, the residents have a wonderful neighborhood to be proud of with much green space to enjoy.
