To support their rapidly growing distribution needs, Woeber Mustard Company invited Kapp Construction to team with them to design and construct a new 65,000-square-foot distribution center. Completed on-time and within budget, the foundation work, utility work, structural steel erection, and building construction were all performed with in-house forces. Challenges, such as working in an old river valley where the water table is at 4’ to 5’ below grade, were overcome and Woeber Mustard has a lot to be proud of with this new facility.

Prior to this expansion, Kapp also constructed a 45,000-square-foot warehouse facility for Woeber Mustard. This new facility was designed to complement the existing manufacturing plant, and consists of a new dock wing with eight docks, a drive-in cooler for storage of fresh perishables, and open warehouse space to accommodate the rack storage system. Additionally, executive office space and conferencing facilities were constructed, as well as employee convenience facilities, for the shift workers. The new offices are of fine finished construction with custom cherry woodwork features.
