Eye-Catching Mercy Health Renovation Project

The Kapp Construction team recently renovated the Mercy Health Springfield Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center at 2600 N. Limestone Street in the NorthPark Medical Commons.

The renovation included an appearance upgrade to the front and south entrances, a new elevator, and multiple interior office updates totaling 6,340 square feet of space. The new faux wood metal panels give the building an eyecatching look. The refreshed exterior style has been designed to harmonize with the outside environment. The aluminum woodgrain siding system, in the color option Knotty Pine, was installed on the curved entryways and selected pillars. The woodgrain naturally accentuates the bright white and neutral gray facade.

Typically, Kapp crews construct buildings from the ground up, so working on a large renovation while the building was occupied and fully operational was an added challenge.

When the project was complete, we were able to provide Mercy Health with a beautiful environment and multiple offices so they can provide patients with non-surgical procedures using cutting-edge technology, and customized therapy, along with rehabilitation plans tailored to patient’s specific needs. Mercy Health’s goal is to help patients achieve optimal physical performance and independence.

Adam Groshans, Springfield Regional Medical Center President, speaking at the ribbon cutting ceremony.
