New Addition for Clark County Mental Health Services

On September 30, 2022, Kapp Construction celebrated the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the new Adolescent Behavioral Health addition for Mental Health Services of Clark County. The 11,700 square foot addition provides clinical space and staff spaces on the first floor with classroom spaces on the second floor. The two-story steel structure has a brick veneer that blends seamlessly into the existing building.

The new facility has expanded capacity, so there is now room to grow, according to CEO Kelly Rigger. It offers additional primary care services, and is now more convenient for families to come to one spot to see their doctor, therapist, or receive treatment.

Kapp Construction project manager Adam Russell and site superintendent Steve Ayars managed the supply chain challenges coming out of the pandemic to deliver the building on time and on budget. Kapp Construction worked alongside the staff of MHS and Shremshock Architects to identify potential challenges and found solutions to meet the end date of the project.

We were grateful to have completed this project that will provide services to the youth in our community.
