We are thrilled to announce the completion of Community Gardens Phase II, a project spearheaded by the Neighborhood Housing Partnership of Springfield and Buckeye Community Hope Foundation. Located at the corner of E High St and S Burnett Rd in Springfield, Ohio, this development marks a significant milestone in our commitment to providing quality senior living accommodations.

  • Construction of 14 one-story, slab-on-grade residential structures.

  • Development of new paved parking drives and site utilities.

  • Installation of a detention pond for efficient water management.

Unique Features of the Project

Community Gardens Phase II is a thoughtfully designed residential community, comprising 60 one-bedroom senior living apartments arranged in clusters of four and six units per building. Each unit features:

  • A combined kitchen, dining, and living area, fostering a spacious and inclusive living environment.

  • A single bedroom and a well-appointed bathroom.

  • An attached one-car garage, providing convenient and secure parking.

A Vision Realized

This project is the second and final phase of a larger vision to create a welcoming and supportive living space for seniors in Springfield. The collaborative effort between the Neighborhood Housing Partnership of Springfield and Buckeye Community Hope Foundation ensures that these new homes meet the highest standards of comfort, accessibility, and sustainability.

Construction Highlights

From the initial groundbreaking in March 2022 to the final touches completed in June 2024, the journey of bringing Community Gardens Phase II to life has been marked by meticulous planning and dedicated execution. Our project manager, Adam, and superintendent, Jake, have been instrumental in overseeing every aspect of the construction process, ensuring that we stayed on schedule and met all our quality benchmarks.

John Haytas Architects brought their innovative design expertise to the table, creating residential units that are not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing. Rehab Engineering played a crucial role in integrating state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring that the homes are equipped with modern amenities.
